Enable's work and learning program activities serve to create an opportunity for pathways to local employment across Melbourne's north. We achieve this through engaging, enabling and encouraging participants who may or do experience barriers to work with real Industry experience in our upbeat and supportive environment.
Program participants can engage in;
Computer Equipment testing, refurbishing, data destruction and
degaussing of hard drives
Electronic Waste disassembly, sorting and dispatching of
parts and commodities
Warehousing and Logistics including pick, pack and dispatch
Employability activities may focus on things like building social and interpersonal skills, self-esteem, taking responsibility, working in a team, self-motivation, health and safety in the workplace as well as specific industry-based technical skills.
Have a genuine interest in IT/Computer Refurbishing and/or dismantling E-Waste, online retailing and warehousing including pick, pack and dispatch.
Can be an NDIS participant seeking an activity for Social and community participation or employment supports including school leavers looking for a supportive work and learning environment.
Must hold a current or be willing to obtain a Working With Children Check and steel capped safety boots.
On site Covid Safety protocol in place and may change from time to time.
