Enable Social Enterprise has successfully completed another external surveillance audit for the
AS/NZS 5377 Standard.

Every year, thousands of tonnes of technology reach the end of its lifecycle. At Enable Social Enterprise, we see something different - opportunity.

Through our IT Asset Disposition (ITAD), secure data sanitisation, and certified e-waste management services, Enable helps organisations responsibly manage retired IT equipment while creating measurable social, environmental, and ESG impact.

Our Impact So Far

  • 3,203 people supported through employment, training and employability programs

  • 49 Employment pathway outcomes for local disadvantaged community

  • 610 tonnes of IT equipment diverted from landfill through reuse and responsible recycling

  • 1,873 refurbished devices distributed to those most in need through network of 144 community partners

  • 368 Social Procurement partnerships with purpose-driven businesses and organisations supporting inclusive employment and environmental impact

What We Do

Enable partners with businesses, government, and organisations to deliver secure and sustainable technology lifecycle services:

IT Asset Disposition (ITAD)

Secure collection, asset tracking, refurbishment, resale, or recycling of retired IT equipment.

Certified E-Waste Management

Responsible recycling aligned with recognised Australian standard AS/NZS 5377:2013  to reduce environmental impact.

Data Sanitisation

Commercial-grade secure data destruction to protect sensitive information before reuse or recycling.

ESG Reporting Benefits

Partnering with Enable also helps organisations strengthen Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) reporting, providing measurable outcomes such as:

• Verified e-waste diversion and circular economy outcomes

Social procurement impact metrics

• Evidence of inclusive employment contributions

• Data to support sustainability, CSR and ESG reporting frameworks

Why It Matters

By choosing Enable, organisations don’t just dispose of old technology - they extend device lifecycles, reduce e-waste, strengthen ESG outcomes, and create employment opportunities for people facing barriers to work.

Because when technology is managed responsibly, it can power both sustainability and opportunity.
