2024 Impact Report - 11 Years Delivering Social and Environmental Impact and Jobs for Disadvantaged

Enable's 2024 Impact report shows good results tackling barriers to employment and creating jobs for  disadvantaged community in areas of high unemployment.  This is achieved  by applying a circular tech approach for re-using and upgrading old business technology, in our effort to get good quality, affordable tech out to those most in need.



Tackling barriers to employment


During 2024, Enable supported 726 participants with employability skills and technical training/activities in our e-waste, warehousing/logistics as well as IT testing and refurbishing units.


Job Creation for disadvantaged


Enable continues our efforts to lead the way with diverse and inclusive employment practices, creating over 40 employment pathway outcomes to date, with 43.65% of total hours worked supporting employees from disadvantaged backgrounds in 2024. Enable pay full award wages to all of our valued employees.


Circular Tech


Driven by Social and sustainable procurement practices by our customers, 2024 saw a 65.4% growth in Enable IT asset decommissioning services, totalling 512.86 tonnes so far for reuse and accredited e-waste recycling. Enable continues to tackle disadvantage and the digital divide , we have distributed 1,496 devices to communities in need to date.


Connected Communities


Our collaborate, not duplicate ethos sees out community partnerships extended to over 104 organisations and supporting fellow social enterprises with a social procurement spend of $33,806 so far.
