Enable's 2024 Impact report shows good results tackling barriers to employment and creating jobs for disadvantaged community in areas of high unemployment. This is achieved by applying a circular tech approach for re-using and upgrading old business technology, in our effort to get good quality, affordable tech out to those most in need.

Showcasing How Social Enterprises and the Circular Economy Deliver Social Impact
During the recent visit by The Honourable Danny Pearson MP and Kathleen Matthews-Ward MP to Enable Social Enterprise, Enable’s Founder and Managing Director, Julie McKay, showcased the benefits of Enable's Circular Tech approach of reusing decommissioned business laptops to create significant environmental impact, as well as social and economic benefits for disadvantaged communities.

Laptops for Students partnership sees 100+ free devices distributed to students and families in need across Banyule local government area.
Since 2021, Enable have been working with CIrcular Tech champion and local volunteer, Andrew McKenzie from Laptops 4 Melbourne Students to give old tech a new home and also distribute free Laptops for students most in need.
