Laptops for Students partnership sees 100+ free devices distributed to students and families in need across Banyule local government area.

Since 2021, Enable have been working with CIrcular Tech champion and local volunteer, Andrew McKenzie to not just give old tech a new home but also to distribute free Laptops for students most in need.
With laptops and bags donated by Enable, Banyule Council then provides Andrew’s program a vital community grant to support the purchase of parts like hard drives, power supplies, batteries, and cameras to then refurbish and upgrade the laptops so they are ready for student use.
Yet another Circular Tech initiative led by Enable, helping those in need to stay connected – a win for the local community and the environment by getting another life out of devices that may have been sent into a recycling stream.
