Vale Bernadette O'Connor

It is with deep sadness that we acknowledge the recent passing of Bernadette O’Connor, fellow Enable Board Director, friend, and colleague.  

Bernadette’s extensive experience and knowledge will be irreplaceable. She was a compassionate leader and champion of social justice, who challenged the status quo and was prepared to do things differently!

We pay tribute to Bernadette’s 8-year tenure on the Board, notably her exemplary contributions to the governance, strategic direction, and commercial success of Enable Social Enterprises, supporting thousands of disadvantaged community members to access to employability skills, jobs and affordable tech.

Bernadette’s pragmatic style, passion, sense of humour, incredible wit, insight, and unwavering support for Enable Social Enterprise will be deeply missed.
